CarRentals.com is looking for an experienced product manager for our core platform. Your focus will be on the lifeblood of our business: the money! You'll be responsible for all transaction-related processes on our platform, including post-rental customer care. If our customer wants a car, it's your job to make sure they get it - and to book the transaction.
You are a problem solver who likes setting goals, is collaborative, data driven. and is ready to drive product strategy for an important area of our business. You have a passion for delivering solutions in a dynamic agile environment. You love data and technology, and proselytizing your vision to a wide audience.

What you'll do:
• Work with business stakeholders to help identify and define product initiatives.
• Build business cases using competitive analysis, market and customer research, and loads of data.
• Drive product prioritization activities including management of trade-offs between cost, schedule, strategy, and end user benefit.
• Own the product roadmap and initiatives throughout the agile software development lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering to facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions, and help identify gaps in our product and our business.
• Define product success measurement and share results with stakeholders.
• Help build out our product management team through regular communication, sharing (and learning) best practices, leveraging data to make decisions, and working to continuously improve the platform for our customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
What you'll need:
• 3+ years of experience in product management in software companies.
• Strong focus on your customers.
• Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to varying audiences.
• Willingness and ability to present to stakeholders and executives.
• Experiences with reporting tools like Tableau and Omniture to inform decision making. SQL a plus.
• Attention to (and appreciation for) details, very curious, and eager to learn.
• High energy and a positive outlook with the passion to make things better at every opportunity.
• Limited international travel (Europe) may be necessary.
• MBA preferred.
