We are looking for a seasoned, experienced, multi-talented hospitality leader who can wrangle thousands of moving parts, program manage all hospitality elements and lead a global team to success. Salesforce is a marketing-driven company and more specifically, a very events-driven company.
Our incredible spaces support executive receptions, non-profit fundraising events, customer networking and more. This senior leadership position is very hands-on in the day-to-day management and execution of our hospitality and events globally that will include managing a team in multiple offices, working with teams inside Salesforce as well as customers and non-profits outside of Salesforce. In this position it will be critical to lead the team in supporting internal and external requests with, budgeting, execution, team and vendor management, analysis and reporting.
Help shape the vision, values and key results for this new world-class hospitality and events team. This is a unique role that requires a deep sense of customer service as well as polish and poise towards our guests. Ideally your DNA includes these super hero talents:
• 15+ years in hospitality and events with focus on guest experience
• Management experience with large B2B or B2C in guest experience, hospitality and events
• Agency management experience, ideally with some of the leading event and experiential marketing agencies in the world. Extra points for a strong network in this area.
• Hands-on management and accountability with significant program budgets
• Gravitas to engage with executives, senior team leaders and company stakeholders
• Experience managing a team of over 20 people in different offices globally
• Drive for attention to detail in the planning and execution of the events held in our unique spaces
• Oversight of Community and Non-Profit Events, Customer, Prospect and Partner Engagements as well as Employee Programs
