DESCRIPTION
Audible - an Amazon company and perpetual innovator – is looking for a results-oriented Sr. Marketing Manager for its Canada Marketing team. As an integral member of the Audible Canada Marketing organization, you have the opportunity to shape innovative programs to drive successful customer acquisition and subsequently strong business metrics. Your focus will be generating new Audible members across Audible’s platforms, including web, mobile web, and apps via marketing and messaging. You will lead the wireless channel to optimize app install campaign performance across mobile networks and social platforms. You will have direct hands-on ownership as well as cross-functional coordination with teams in Product, User Experience, Creative, and Technology. This role is based in Newark, NJ, and reports to Head of Acquisition, Canada.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with the Head of Acquisition on the Audible Canada Acquisition marketing strategy. Specifically, manage the Anon, SEO and Wireless channel from idea through execution, including determining the optimal creative, testing plan, mobile media plan and budget.
• Identify conversion marketing strategies across web, mobile web, and app stores to move prospects through the purchase funnel.
• Develop a repeatable process for creating hypotheses, running experiments (A/B and multivariate), and reporting outcomes / recommendations that will support the conversion of prospects into members.
• Conduct tests and deep data driven analysis that provide insights and new strategies for increasing acquisition results. Communicate these results in a clear, compelling manner.
• Partner cross-functionally with other business team partners in Product, Creative, Technology, Customer Care, UX Design and Finance to deliver effective initiatives. Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the organization’s ability to meet its goals.
• Others as defined by evolving business needs for a rapidly growing online business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong digital marketing experience driving acquisition (e.g., Paid Search, Display, Wireless media), but with a solid understanding of the full customer lifecycle.
• Demonstrated understanding of site optimization, UX and persuasive marketing techniques in the driving of new member conversion.
• Budget and forecasting management experience, including creating “what if” scenarios.
• Experience with gathering and utilizing customer insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field of study.
• 5+ years of experience in related positions with increasing responsibility.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Experience with web/mobile analytics programs, i.e., Site Catalyst and A/B testing strategies and related programs, i.e., Test & Target.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to generate and quickly execute upon actionable recommendations based on the synthesis and analysis of data.
• Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• A demonstrated record of partnering with teams (Product and UX) across the organization and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals.
• Strong understanding of subscription revenue business models.
• Experience with both desktop and mobile platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or graduate degree.
• Proactive and solutions oriented.
• Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction.
• Established track record of creativity and innovation.
• Fluency in French.
