The Salesforce Industry Marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate Product Marketing Director to be a leader, develop the vision and drive the go-to-market strategy for Manufacturing industry marketing. In this role, you will be at the tip of the spear in transforming how Manufacturing organizations engage with customers, employees and partners. Leaders from across the Manufacturing industry have been joining the team at Salesforce to transform manufacturing by leveraging the World's #1 CRM.
The Manufacturing product marketing director will be responsible for determining our industry marketing strategy, collaborating with senior leaders in sales and product, aligning cross-functional teams and driving industry events and customer success - all combining to create a paradigm shift for how Manufacturing organizations usher in digital transformation, build the workforce of the future and open new revenue streams through connected products and service.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the industry's best marketing team to lead the Manufacturing executive alignment and marketing strategy
• Create compelling internal and external customer-facing presentations
• Create visionary event marketing experiences, at Salesforce events along with third-party events
• Drive the creation of thought leadership content and webinars to evangelize our message
• Manage industry solution launch plans, working closely with the industry experts and corporate marketing teams to ensure effective and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and pipeline
• Partner with a world-class Product Management team to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages
• Dream up engaging product demonstrations that are used on stage, in videos and are the basis for customer engagements in the sales process
• Confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes (ranging from one person to hundreds of people)
• Develop effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
• Partner with field marketing to execute innovative marketing campaigns, SEO, and web design to build pipeline
Required Skills/Experience:
• 8-to-15 years experience in marketing
• Manufacturing marketing experience a plus, though not required
• Proven leadership and ability to collaborate and motivate teams
• Experience managing senior executive stakeholder relationships
• Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets (including on-message product demo videos, sharp succinct slide pitch-decks)
• Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and CRM applications
• Proven speaker comfortable in large audiences
• Exceptionally detail oriented with the ability to thrive in fast moving, ambiguous environments
• Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making as well as a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
• Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
• Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management
• Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence
• MBA a plus (but we also love brilliant people who didn't go to business school)
