Strategy and Operations Associate, Enterprise
About the role
WeWork is currently seeking a Strategy and Operations Associate to join our fast-growing Enterprise team. In response to increasing demand from established and rapidly-growing large businesses, our goal is to bring WeWork’s beautiful, flexible workspaces, global business community and cutting-edge workplace technology to the broader workforce, increasing the breadth and impact of the WeWork business model. Enterprise members to date include a significant number of Fortune 500 companies, as well as numerous name-brand growth companies in the software, social media, financial, hospitality and creative verticals. The Strategy and Operations group supports the expansion of this quickly-expanding segment of the business, working with the world’s largest and fastest-growing companies to develop global workspace strategies for a rapidly evolving workforce. This full-time position is based in New York.
Job responsibilities:
Support the enterprise team by developing and implementing product offerings and processes to scale the business. Job involves developing product strategy, driving operational plan and supporting product marketing. Including:
• Drive the implementation of new product offering through clear communication, cross functional collaboration and project management
• Help coordinate product development and collect and analyze data to determine the effect of our experiments
• Develop customer facing materials to support the sales team
• Work with cross functional teams (digital, real estate, physical product, operations) to develop and support the product offering
• Develop and define tools and processes to support and scale the enterprise business from marketing materials to on-boarding and expansion plans
Qualifications:
Background in traditional business (management consulting, investment banking, or research) with the desire to get involved in a growth company
• BA/BS degree; major in business, finance, and / or economics preferred
• 4 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm, investment bank, or research firm
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to put a decision making framework around complex/unclear problems.
• Ability to both build strategy for product as well as follow implementation
• Balance critical thinking with creative problem-solving
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure implementation
