Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
• 5+ years' experience in a Multi-Channel and Multi-Brand environment leading initiatives. Retail and Wholesale experience a strong plus.
• Strong strategic and tactical management skills including market and channel strategy development, customer retention and acquisition, budgeting and execution.
• Working knowledge of Marketing, Merchandising, Finance and Operations.
• Ability and desire for upward mobility.
• Proven ability to identify the metrics to drive success, measure KPI's, socialize understanding, and drive initiative to completion.
• Experience working cross functionally and interacting with, influencing and presenting to partners at all levels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration and relationship building skills are critical.
• Strong strategic business analytical skills required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required
Description
The primary objective of the Marketing Director is to oversee the development and implementation of the go-to-market strategy for emerging brands (including Wolferman's, MooseMunch, Stockyards and any other brands outside of Harry & David), business-to-business, wholesale and retail. The Director will partner with the company Senior Leadership team, Marketing and other Centers of Excellence (Finance / Marketing / Merchandising / Inventory / Etc.) to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability through online and offline marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate has a broad retail marketing background that includes direct-to-consumer, print, digital, email, social, retail stores and business-to-business.
• Facilitate the development, implementation and optimization of strategies that support profitable growth for the brands/channels.
• Evaluate, plan and implement the customer experience vision to build strong brands.
• Manage the performance of the brand through marketing channels (internet marketing, email, direct mail, telemarketing, social media, PR) and spend optimization.
• Define and coordinate call center support (customer outreach marketing, sales and service).
• Direct cross functional teams encompassing merchandising, marketing, finance and operation in the B2C, B2B, retail and wholesale market segments to increase sales.
• Continuously identify, create, communicate, and execute on next generation new brand development programs, along with existing brand development programs, in order to achieve established business unit revenue and profitability targets.
• Maintain and report analytical data including customer profiles, response metrics, sales and profitability KPIs.
• Present to and influence executive level staff on strategy and progress.
