Director / GPM, Conversion Product
Groupon is looking for an awesome and experienced Product Manager to help improve the conversion and purchase funnel on its web and mobile platforms.

In this position, you will manage a team of product managers to improve the conversion and purchase funnel for Groupon’s website. You will be responsible for identifying the key initiatives, creating a roadmap and executing on these initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Develop new product ideas and improvements and extensions of existing products in line with overall corporate strategy and purchase funnel goals. Communicate goals, and status regularly to business stakeholders.
• Define product requirements and communicate clearly to the engineering team. Through agile development process, bring features to market, test, measure, iterate and advance.
• Work closely with General Managers of different product lines and align roadmap initiatives to help them grow revenue and scale globally.
Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years proven track record bringing consumer-facing web or mobile products to the market. Ability to take care of all the minor details that lead to a polished and beautiful product
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of product managers.
• Demonstrated ability to put definition around and recommend approaches to solving open-ended questions. Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities, and ability to adapt in a flexible and fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience reporting business to senior management. Experience in creating product roadmaps using strategic understanding of the big picture
• Ability to derive insights by immersing themselves into their customers’ frame of reference
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and extract insights from product metrics.
• Experience with agile software development and prioritizing backlogs for software engineers
• Entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action
• Bachelors or Masters degree in CS or equivalent education required. MBA helpful but not required.
