We are looking for a Director of Digital & Marketing Operations to redefine and transform our digital marketing efforts globally. If you are a leader who knows how to optimize B2B marketing performance across all digital channels, run marketing systems, enable technical infrastructure, and drive marketing reporting and analytics, this role is for you. This leader will transform Egencia’s marketing to a data-driven culture and drive revenue growth.
The fourth largest Travel Management Company (TMC) in the world, Egencia is Expedia’s business travel brand. We are experiencing unprecedented growth in an industry that technology is rapidly transforming. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and a key member of the Marketing leadership team, this role will have visibility and access to key company executives and will stretch your own capabilities and expand your scope as we grow the business.
What You Will Do:
• Lead the full marketing technology stack including all digital and demand marketing systems (Web CMS, marketing automation, CRM, etc.) across the Demand Marketing, Content Marketing, Field Marketing, Customer & Partner Marketing, and Product Marketing functions.
• Own the Web strategy and execution. Evolve egencia.com to be the center of our buyer’s journey across all segments and audiences, dramatically improving performance for brand, demand and retention. Optimize inbound performance including CRO and SEO. Set processes and SLA, and lead site strategy across all marketing functions. Partner with product team in site development and A/B testing delivery.
• Transform marketing automation into a strategic platform for revenue growth and customer engagement globally. Build multi-channel, multi-touch campaign management, with closed loop lead management via Marketo, its integration to Salesforce.com and all other integrated martech stack tools. Lead the effort to employ standard methodologies processes in the areas of B2B lead management and marketing data quality. Collaborate with Sales Ops and Product on a customer data strategy that ensures one source of truth.
• Build and lead a world-class marketing automation delivery team to deliver innovative nurture, ABM, and outbound marketing. Ensure this team serves as SME to help marketing around the world develop high performing campaigns.
• Build and deliver marketing analytics and insights to measure and improve campaign performance and create metrics that to optimize marketing investments. Enable the organization to use data and testing plans to continually optimize and maximize revenue. Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with marketing leaders to find opportunities to leverage the tools and data increase the effectiveness of corporate, regional, and local marketing efforts. Uncover inefficiencies in Marketing processes and drive improvements. Drive a martech roadmap based upon internal and external feedback.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and customer service within and around marketing operations.
Who You Are:
• Leadership and initiative to see what needs to be done and a sense of urgency and results-orientation to build plans and support to execute.
• Be strategically analytical and operations focused while also providing strong oversight of tactical responsibilities.
• Be well organized and have a real passion for reporting performance metrics.
• Experience working with and effectively influencing senior management. Proven ability to build highly effective working relationships with sales, marketing and product.
What You Will Bring:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics or Engineering
• 8-12 years' experience in digital and marketing operations, with additional time in closely-related role in marketing or sales
