Director, Product - APIs
Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) is the partner-focused B2B brand of Expedia, Inc., one of the world’s largest travel companies with a presence in more than 75 countries. We are a high growth business and our technology powers the business of over 10,000 of the world’s leading airlines, top consumer brands, consumer and corporate travel agencies and loyalty organizations.
We are looking for an experienced Director of Product to set the strategic direction for a highly talent product team focused on our partner’s check-out & post-booking experience. This role will work across our extraordinary product, technology and marketing teams, to design, build and release new products.
You will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice to advocate for our partners’ needs, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of product priorities, and market opportunities to align with our business strategy.
This is a leadership role managing a team of talented product managers. It involves regular interaction with partners and our senior executives.

Responsibilities:
Build the Product Road-map:
• Define a compelling product vision & road-map that supports a successful check-out & post-booking experience for our partners
• Help team determine scope of strategic product initiatives and translated into milestones & timing
• Establish a strong relationship & work collaboratively with dedicated technology teams to deliver road-map
Create strong Relationships:
• Work very closely with both key internal teams such as sales, account management, partner integration, marketing
• Connect directly with our partners to gain better insights into their challenges & opportunities
Excellent Decision-Making:
• Gather relevant data points to help make informed decisions
• Trade off the opposing demands of a wide variety of internal partners, while keeping the partner at the heart of all decision-making
Cross functional:
• Lead key cross-functional/cross-organizational strategic initiatives, coordinate with partners across Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) and Expedia Inc to drive delivery
• Product Development Methodologies: help team implement best practices for all stages of product development (Product Vision, Discovery, Development, Roll Out, BAU)
Lead Team:
• Coach, mentor & develop team of product managers
