Job Details
As Director of Technical Program Management for Search, you are required to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As part of the Search Leadership team, you will partner with the VP of Engineering and Product Management to drive the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise, align project priority and schedules, and identify and solve cross-functional and inter-team issues quickly. You drive requirements with internal stakeholders and usher projects through to GA. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
As a member of the Search Leadership team, you will help build cross-cloud relationships, scalable processes, drive technical projects, solve problems, making our engineers productive and successful, and support the product releases and services deployments. You will manage and improve existing processes, develop tools and manage releases, exercising independent judgment and developing recommendations that translate into a course of action.
