Grubhub is looking for a Senior Associate, Growth Marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns to support the acquisition of new customers. Reporting into our Manager of Growth Marketing, this individual will be responsible for optimizing current marketing programs as well as proposing and testing new tactics to help aggressively drive diner acquisition. This role requires someone that is just as passionate about analytics as s/he is about thinking creatively to build new marketing programs for Grubhub. While a self-starter, this person will also be a team-player that’s comfortable working across multiple teams and departments to create marketing programs that support company-wide goals.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
• Brainstorm, plan and execute new offline and online acquisition campaigns - such as direct response, SMS marketing
• Collaborate with operations team to support testing and scaling restaurant marketing
• Ideate, implement, and analyze tests to improve performance among channels
• Maximize number of new customers at a given CPA target
• Manage agency/vendor relationships to ensure execution of campaigns
• Work cross functionally with acquisition, CRM, operations and product teams to grow new customer base, and to increase order frequency among existing diners
• Collaborate with copywriters and designers to develop messaging, creative and promotions inline with brand guidelines
• Manipulate and pull large amounts of data to analyze results of campaigns
• Set financial goals and the forecast budget needed to achieve them
• Daily/weekly/quarterly budget management and invoice processing
You Should Have
• BA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or another quantitative field
• 3-5 years experience in performance-based, direct response marketing
• Excellent project management skill
• A strong analytical background with a bias for developing data-driven solutions
• Proficiency in Excel and knowledge as a marketing user in Salesforce
• Strong communication skills - ability to clearly communicate results, key learning, areas of opportunities for program
• Proactive approach and enthusiasm to problem identification and solving
