Expedia's Global Payments team (EGP) powers the Payment Methods that Expedia Inc offers to our customers and suppliers. This includes supporting 30 payment Methods in 86 currencies, across 215 countries for 21 Expedia Inc brands with +200K suppliers. EGP technology and operations infrastructure handles +$60B billions of dollars of payments annually.
This role is for Sr Technical Program Manager, who can enable team for faster delivery and quicker time to Market, cross collaborating with several teams across Expedia Inc. Supports multiple initiatives that include global expansion of Payment Methods, building a scalable payments platform, optimizing a cost stream of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Responsibilities:
• Own the delivery of features and programs from end-to-end.
• Develop cohesive plans across the company for delivery on your programs.
• Be the point of communication for your program's status to a broad audience from executives to engineers.
• Work closely with the Development leads to ensure features are delivered.
• Ensure our Program Management process is followed and improved.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of hands-on Technical Program Management experience leading large, cross-organizational programs.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills, with extensive experience working with senior management.
• Experiences working cross-culturally and cross-functionally, and ability to adapt personal style to different environments.
• Background in Service Oriented Architecture implementation along with program delivery experience.
• Self-motivated, able to deal with ambiguity, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines within short time constraints.
• High degree of competency within all phases of Program Life Cycle.
• Bachelors of Science degree is required.
• A Technical degree is preferred; Additional Business or Finance degree is a bonus.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
