RESPONSIBILITIES
E*TRADE Financial Corporation has openings for Director, Strategy and Performance Management positions in New York, NY and various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
Work closely with the CFO’s office on defining and driving the strategic agenda of the company. Analyze and evaluate opportunities, and drive recommendations around growth and performance improvement opportunities. Create project approaches, structure project plans, and align relevant stakeholders on project objectives and findings. Develop an in-depth view of the market by performing strategic and financial assessments on the competitive landscape. Conduct due diligence into companies by analyzing products, financial information, customer segmentation, organizational structures, and operational capabilities. Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses and build business cases on select initiatives. Play an active role in developing Board of Directors and Executive presentation materials. Collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders (i.e., product, channel, marketing, finance, technology development, legal, compliance, etc.) to drive execution on projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Employer will accept Master’s degree in Business or related field followed by two years of work experience in job offered or two years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following:
1. Experience in the financial services industry
2. Experience managing a team of at least 2 people and overseeing workstreams / deliverables
3. Developing and delivering strategic recommendations and presentations to various levels, including C-Level audience
4. Developing project approaches and structuring project work plans
5. Conducting due diligence into companies
6. Conducting competitive analysis
7. Developing strategies, business plans and value propositions
8. Operating model assessment and design
9. Conducting customer segmentation analysis and targeting
10. Conducting operational assessment and process improvement / redesign
11. Evaluating organic and inorganic growth strategies.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
