Are you interested in a unique opportunity to be part of a People Team building a world class company? Our team is responsible for making sure we have the right people in the right roles, with the skills and resources needed for success. The position is a critical role for our global business and reports to the Chief People Officer.
Your primary responsibility will be to create and execute the vision and strategy for L&D at MongoDB. This will encompass:
• Process for ongoing needs analysis
• Identifying best practices for skill building and content delivery
• Knowledge and information sharing (integrating/aligning with existing functional centers of excellence for capability building and education)
• Program design and implementation
• Program delivery and facilitation
• Impact measurement
Initial focus areas to include: Leadership Development Program, Continuous Learning Series (professional and soft skills), On-boarding Strategy
Past tenure in a hyper-growth technology environment would be ideal. Exposure to running Learning & Development initiatives on a global scale would give you a strong advantage. Most importantly, you will thrive on identifying and understanding business opportunities and translating them into innovative learning initiatives.
Within 1 month, you’ll…..
• Be fully integrated into the People Team and develop relationships to begin to understand growth opportunities for employees
• Contribute to the evolving activities of the L&D function
• Be familiar with how our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is managed and be comfortable with its content and materials
• Facilitate the ongoing rollout of our Continuous Learning Series (CLS)
• Familiarize yourself with our business model and organizational structure
Within 3 months, you’ll…..
• Learn the product - you will have attended our Sales Bootcamp and understand our various product offerings, how we sell and the business impact MongoDB has on our customers
• Be well connected with Business Units, have developed relationships and understand their specific opportunities for growth & development
• Create content and materials for our Continuous Learning Series (CLS)
• Be fully involved in the development of our global Onboarding Program
• Embrace our Culture & Values and able to bring them to life through employee training programs
Within 6 months, you’ll…..
• Be a critical member of the People team, with a deep understanding of our product offerings, growth opportunities, and our Culture & Values
• Have built credibility across all Business Units to facilitate easy buy-in for proposed initiatives
• Partner on the development and adoption of a program to accelerate the growth of our top talent
• Hired and on-boarded a team member to focus on program management, administration and measurement
Within 12 months, you’ll…..
• Own our Leadership Development Program from logistics, to content review / development through to the facilitation of the program
• Ongoing iteration of our growth programs to keep us pioneering new ideas
• Provide strategic input to the L&D roadmap
• Contributed to thinking through the broader vision/strategy for Talent Management
