Los Angeles based Internet Brands, Inc. is looking for an energetic, outgoing individual to join our outside sales force as a Regional Sales Manager in our CarsDirect.com Automotive Division, reporting to the VP of Sales.
We are looking for a proven professional AND a highly motivated sales manager, & salesperson.
We are looking to hire the right individual in one of the following major markets to have easy access for National travel (50%+ time travelling):
• Austin, TX
We expect our Outside Regional Sales Manager to:
• Manage a Team of (4 – 6) Outside sales reps (District Managers).
• Hold subordinates accountable for performance in KPI’s.
• Develop annual MBO’s that align with IB corporate objectives.
• Provide detailed reporting, with data & analytics to VP of Sales.
• Recruit, hire (make final hiring decisions), train sales team members.
• Spend majority of your time in the field with your direct report District Managers.
• Grow Total Revenue, Dealer Adoption, & Retain a book of business for a Regional Territory in the __________ (Location).
• Lead our effort in a senior role with new product launch initiatives to Dealer Groups & manage large accounts.
• Develop, cultivate & maintain new dealer prospects in their assigned region(s) as well as promote and sell our proprietary CarsDirect and Autos.com automotive lead solutions / programs to our dealer partners.
• Initiate and manage dealer relationships that produce high volume vehicle sales.
• Create customized lead solutions / programs for our dealer partners based on their individual and / or regional needs.
• Work with our experienced and award-winning marketing division (including our growing number of automotive forums and websites) to promote a suite of dealer programs and division-wide initiatives.
• Provide outstanding dealer customer service and regular account maintenance.
• Provide marketplace and dealer intelligence information to the CarsDirect management team.
• Attend Trade shows and be the face of CarsDirect.
• Earn a commission based on revenue performance.
• Work well with Inside Sales & Support resources, as well as cross-functionally with marketing, operations & product development.
Our Regional Sales Management Representatives will demonstrate:
• Excellent employee & customer relations that include strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), and an ability to organize and present compelling sales presentations to one or more individuals.
• High accountability standards for their team DM’s, & for themselves.
• An ability to maintain & retain relationships with consistency & longevity.
• Aptitude to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Five (5) years minimum experience in sales/management–ability to show proven success in an outside sales capacity.
• A strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively to accomplish established sales and marketing goals.
• Dependable, honest, and detail-oriented behaviors.
• A professional appearance and enthusiastic attitude, with strong desire, energy and urgency, as well as exhibit a competitive entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong industry knowledge and local dealership familiarity are required.
• Work with operations to track and optimize account performance, & new business development.
