Search Marketing Manager
Open to Bellevue or London for the location of the role.
Job Description:
The Global Partner Marketing team for Expedia’s B2B hotel division, Lodging Partner Services (LPS) is an entrepreneurial team inside the world's biggest travel company. We communicate the value of the Expedia partnership to millions of our hotel partners worldwide.
We are looking for an online performance marketing specialist to lead search engine optimization (SEO) and Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to support all partner-facing websites.
You will lead SEO activities such as on-site optimization, link building and content strategy to improve organic rankings on all major search engines and drive business impact around the globe. You will also lead all paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines aligned to partner acquisition and penetration goals.
Responsibilities:
SEM:
•You will lead the development and optimization of all paid search campaigns to support partner-facing websites aligned to business goals
•You will plan paid keyword discovery, develop a result-oriented keyword bid management plan and assess expansion opportunities on an ongoing basis.
•You will craft and test ad copy to improve ad engagement (CTR%) and site conversions.
•You will recommend optimization of landing pages, if needed
•You will collaborate with localization teams, field marketing and market management teams to ensure local relevance for all campaigns
SEO:
•You will research and implement SEO recommendations and monitor performance of organic search traffic across partner-facing websites.
•You will perform site audits/crawls to identify technical issues
•You will recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
•You will work with site developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
•You will collaborate with internal creative and web marketing teams to drive new content development to support SEO goals
•You will develop and implement a link-building strategy
Qualifications and Requirements:
•5 years of SEM and SEO experience leading campaigns across Google, Yahoo, Bing and regional search engines.
•Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition.
•In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Omniture), PPC campaign management tools and SEO tracking tools.
•Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
•Strong quantitative and analytical skills
•Independent, self-sufficient work ethic and result-oriented mindset
•Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
