We’re seeking an analytical self-starter, who can think big, to further elevate the impact of our brand marketing, social, and PR campaigns by upping our game on insights, return on investment, and strategic planning.

This position will report to the Vice President, Global Brand. Variety of responsibilities include:
• Develop consumer insights for global travel accommodation and infuse into all parts of the business
• Create and maintain an insights-based global marketing strategy for use by creative, media, social, and PR teams
• Coordinate integrated marketing plans for each country where Hotels.com advertises
• Lead regular and ad hoc management reporting and communication, including regular business reviews and staff meetings
• Organize global Brand/PR/social training and capability building sessions
• Partner with Finance and regional business leaders to set and allocate the annual marketing budget
• Design a global roadmap with tests to achieve annual measurement/insight goals, and integrate resulting insights into subsequent campaigns
• Manage global research, partnering with internal teams to plan and execute as needed; maintain repository of insights, results, and actions
• Direct internal analytics teams and third-party measurement resources (e.g. Google, Millward Brown)
• Serve as the business partner for Marketing Mix Modeling and Marketing Spend Optimization trials with Analytics and Finance teams
• Directly lead a team of 2-5 employees
Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years professional experience working on national consumer brand(s), including experience in brand management, partnership marketing, brand analytics, consumer insights and research.
• Bachelor’s Degree required. An MBA is a plus.
• Top-tier consulting experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of communications planning: ability to develop objectives and goals and then construct a multi-channel integrated campaign with medium specific objectives that ladder up to a common goal.
• Must thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, yet highly competitive, and constantly changing category.
• Experience managing-up to executive leadership gaining alignment and consensus on program priorities, narratives and deliverables.
• Polished executive communicator with ability to communicate with data and information in a clear and concise fashion.
• Ability to track results and apply learnings for the future.
• Must have a sense of humor.
• Experience forming teams and managing direct reports.
