The Senior Director/Director, YPO Executive Engagement will join the team who manages CEO strategic partnership programs.
This role will have high-visibility with immediate and profound impact on our commercial business and industries. The candidate will need to have a unique mix of relationship and data management skills, project operations, innovative marketing event experience, and interest in global issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To build and lead the global partnership with the Young President's Organization (YPO). Provide Salesforce with dedicated support in integrating into YPO's various portfolio/channels such as networks, learning, events and geographical footprint (regions & chapters).
This is accomplished through the design and execution of the partnership strategy and
maximizing Salesforce assets that support YPO member's lifelong learning journey as well as their personal and professional development. Such assets include but would not be limited to: thought leadership, industry expertise, access to exclusive relationships, experiences and financial contributions.
• Lead the Salesforce & YPO Partnership, and its stakeholders and business partners.
• Manage all of the YPO & Salesforce engagements both with YPO events, Salesforce events and co-designed sessions.
• Provide support leading up to and onsite at the engagements, and manage the c-suite engagement plans, POs and contracts and the data/reports/decks in support of our overall engagement.
• Partner with Salesforce Executive Programs and Events; leveraging all opportunities to continue the executive engagement strategy
• Maintain Salesforce chatter groups, program decks and other program communication
• Work across all lines of business to ensure program success
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with YPO key executives and serve as a strategic advisor in support of the partnership objectives
• Works with other YPO departments to identify ways in which we should support their objectives and provide resources, content, thought leadership and learning experiences in a meaningful way
• Lead strategic planning sessions, evaluates Salesforce assets and defines activation & fulfillment strategy aligned with YPO mission and organizational priorities
• Proactively tracks partnership progress as it relates to key performance indicators and agreed upon metrics. Data analysis, creating campaigns and dashboards
• Design and manage the integration plan into relevant channels by partnering with the YPO membership and management team across various departments and Geographies
• Evaluate and manage funding and resource requests stemming from member led Initiatives
• Advise GSP executives and thought leaders on the best practices for engaging a CEO audience given the YPO organizational structure and learning priorities
• Negotiate terms with GSP for contract amendments or contract renewals
• Design process documents, marketing pieces and resources to support department needs
• Produce presentations and reports to keep the Salesforce stakeholders informed on the current state of the partnership
• Organization of meetings or calls related to GSP strategy, member-to-partner connections or management updates
• Domestic and International travel required (estimated 30%).
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Ability to effectively develop and manage C-level relationships
• Executive level communication skills with the ability to share and garner support from others
• Strategic thinking skills with an eye to larger scale impact
• Critical thinking skills for problem solving in situations that have multi-relational impact
• Ability to effectively comprehend and articulate the policies and procedures of YPO
• Ability to maneuver politically charged situations and create solutions under pressure
• Global citizen sophisticated in local and international customs and protocols
• Effective time management, organization and prioritization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills and database management experience
EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
• Proven business professional with experience working effectively with chief executives
• 7-10+ years' experience managing workload in a dynamic and agile global environment
• that includes travel
• 5+ years' experience managing projects or dedicated accounts and/or high-end client
• service delivery experience
• 5+ years proven experience as a Senior Manager in a global organization delivering executive level client services
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization
• Demonstrated experience in developing events and/or learning programs preferred
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field
• Master's degree in Business or Nonprofit Organizations preferred
• Must be fluent in both verbal and written communications in English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to travel up to 30%
