Job Description:
This highly-visible role will oversee the company's strategy and execution for its billing operations, including the company’s proprietary billing engine and refund / chargeback policies. This operation is a mission-critical part of the company, responsible for transacting the company's subscription fees and fees for other services. Managing a global team of approximately 30 people in Belmont and Manilla (Philippines), this person will lead the billings team and ensure the integrity of the billings process and lead strategic projects that involve process improvement and key system initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing all aspects of processing Billing and AR transactions
• Create predictive models, analyze and forecast key metrics, costs and other trends to identify opportunities that will increase efficiencies through process improvements
• Lead quality assurance process for billings to large enterprise customers
• Lead the quality assurance and testing procedures for all technical changes to our billing platform
• Optimize the company's billing operations by tracking key metrics and focusing on key process improvements
• Lead the deal desk review of sales opportunities, contracts and non-‐ standard transactions
• Partner with cross-‐functional organization to resolve and support customer-‐billing issues/inquires.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in leading billings and AR Operations
• Billing and AR Operations experience required
• Ability to lead a large team and strategic projects
• Solid planning and prioritization skills. Demonstrates high energy with the ability to remain flexible and change priorities in a challenging and fast-‐ paced environment
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-‐paced and often ambiguous work environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills and customer service skills is required, as well as eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment. Must be a team player and self-‐start
• Detailed-‐oriented with excellent analytical skills for data mining (with high volume transactions)
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and Independently take ownership to manage assigned tasks
• Knowledge of revenue accounting is a plus
• Software as a Service (SaaS) experience is a plus
• SFDC and NetSuite experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
