Engineering Manager, Web App
Purpose
At Box, we believe in building products that delight users and transform the way they work together. We make it easy for 40 million people to share content, build workflows, edit collaboratively, and much, much more. Our web application is the most visible and most heavily trafficked product in the Box ecosystem – it's the first part of Box that most users see, and it is the place they return to do work day after day.
As an Engineering Manager for the web app, you'll lead a highly collaborative scrum team building a wide variety of web experiences on top of our platform. You'll ensure that the team is healthy, effective and pointed in the right direction by coaching and mentoring engineers, building lightweight processes, championing the end user, coaching engineers through technical decisions, and helping the team continually improve.
Why the team needs you
The Web App team is growing fast. Really fast. As we continue to hire engineers, we need a people manager to help scale the team, bring in new ideas, and help us maintain a wonderful team culture that stresses inclusiveness, transparency, ownership and collaboration.
