In this role, this person will partner with the Sr Director, Brand Marketing for North America to develop breakthrough communications, using media to get real and measurable results. We’re looking for someone who knows how to drive impact + results, but in a prioritized manner – balancing the constant sense of urgency with quality of work. We’re seeking to hire a motivated self-starter, someone who believes in the value + impact of brand marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Leading development and execution of NA marketing campaigns and initiatives designed to communicate our brand positioning and drive awareness of the brand; including our award-winning advertising with Captain Obvious.
• Overseeing integrated production management, tracking and ensuring we meet project milestones, and budget targets for brand campaigns across television, radio, out of home, digital, and social.
• Building and maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship with all team members and agency partners.
• Providing creative thought leadership to help benefit Hotels.com advertising globally.
• Managing development and production budgets, with help of junior team members, to facilitate budget projections, updates and analysis while tracking ongoing projects.
• Leading communication with partners and executives, providing updates and securing alignment/ approvals whenever necessary.
• Managing and mentoring teams, working to build morale + collaboration across disciplines.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years professional experience working on national consumer brand(s), either client side or in an advertising agency environment. Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Clear understanding of communications planning: ability to develop objectives and goals and then construct a multi-channel integrated campaign with medium specific objectives that ladder up to a common goal.
• Ability to develop and work in a highly collaborative environment, building strong working relationships across internal and agency teams.
• Thrive in a dynamic, collaborative yet highly competitive, and constantly changing category.
• Experience managing-up to executive leadership gaining alignment and consensus on program priorities, narratives and deliverables.
• Ability to communicate with data and information in a clear and concise fashion. Ability to track results and apply learnings for the future.
• Must have a sense of humor
• Unyielding attention to detail – in every way.
• Proficiency in all things related to content production and brand activations.
• Experience establishing teams and leading direct reports is preferred.
