We are looking for an experienced product management director with a track record for driving new packaged services capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption. This role has a key responsibility for guiding the future of salesforce.com's Customer Success Programs and extending our market leadership. Many of the world's largest and most successful companies use Cloud Services products today to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities consist of working with the services team to deliver a world-class customer success product portfolio driven by customer needs, advisory teams, internal product experts, and aligned with key financial metrics. Additional responsibilities include meeting with customers and prospects to discuss their needs and to define the product roadmap. This job is for experienced product managers who thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment and love working with the best technology and success team in the world.
Responsibilities:
• Define and deliver the next generation of our Customer Success Plan products. This includes defining market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success.
• Ownership and delivery of key features from end-to-end: working with customers, working in an agile environment, executing pilots for usability, coordinating multiple teams to deliver a quality and marketable product on time, pricing and packaging of Cloud Services products.
• Own key decisions regarding the Cloud Services P/L including: bookings/revenue, margin, and cost to book and serve.
• Work closely with collaborate effectively with business leaders and cross-functional teams including technology, marketing, sales, support, and services to define and execute the Salesforce Customer Success product strategy.
• Engage with customers to understand product value and consumption as well as for requirements gathering, feature requests and roadmap updates.
• Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events.
Skills Required:
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Systems/Business Analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Strong communication skills.
• Services product management and services delivery experience.
• Cloud computing experience.
• Demonstrated experience in the agile software development process.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
• 2-4 years of customer relationship management experience with a focus on salesforce automation, service automation, or marketing automation.
• Bachelors' degree in a business, technical, or marketing. MBA is a plus
