About the role
Zillow Group is looking for an exceptional Recruiting Programs and Operations leader to help drive Recruiting initiatives, strategies and process improvements across the ZG portfolio of brands. This person will also oversee the Recruiting Diversity efforts and work closely with the leadership team.
The Director, Recruiting Programs and Operations will be an influential leader within Zillow Group’s People Organization as we continue to build a world-class recruiting team and deliver amazing candidate experiences. ZG operates the largest Real Estate network on the web, but we’ve only scratched the surface of our mission to build the largest, most trusted and vibrant home-related marketplace in the world. You will play a key role in helping us scale to fully deliver on our mission.
• Operationalize and optimize ZG’s Recruiting function (processes, programs, reporting, communications, tools, events, etc.) for scale, process excellence, and standardization, all while ensuring amazing candidate experiences and internal client satisfaction.
• Monitor and drive active projects to ensure they remain on track for achieving the desired measurable business outcomes. Build systems and tools to facilitate the project management effort in smart ways.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide thought leadership, assess business needs and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Recommend creative solutions aligned with program goals and gain consensus from leadership and stakeholders.
• Own ZG’s portfolio of Recruiting programs, including Employee Referral Program (ERP) and Internal Mobility Program(IMP), Core tools and Recruiter Excellence.
• Actively participate in Recruiting strategy development, and partner with the Recruiting and People leadership on annual key recruiting initiatives, including rolling 2-5 year Recruiting roadmaps.
• Continually evaluate external employer brand strength and work with the appropriate parties (including marketing and communications) to build, enhance, and leverage brand in the market to drive Recruiting goals.
• Develop and implement internal communication strategies, messaging and tools to ensure awareness, understanding of and action required with regards to recruiting processes and tools, and their associated performance and quality expectations.
• Develop communications strategy to elevate visibility of the Recruiting organization across ZG, as well as to facilitate dialogue between recruiting leadership and employees.
• Work with the People Analytics team to identify and vet appropriate recruitment performance metrics and measures.
Who you are
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years leading high performing, collaborative and engaged teams; preferably 3+ years in a pure Recruiting Operations leadership role.
• 3+ years of Process Improvement experience, using formal continuous process improvements methodologies, techniques and tools.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, including experience in the full life cycle of launching tools and programs to support a recruiting organization.
• Organizational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks. You don't get overwhelmed easily.
• Naturally curious. You're innovative, creative and comfortable with ambiguity. You’re constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize and work incredibly well cross functionally.
• You're a people person who can hear out your customers and ask the questions needed to fully understand the problem to be solved. While you’re always driving toward results, you balance that with making informed decisions for the best outcome for everyone.
• A planner. You’re always thinking ahead. You challenge yourself to think big and understand the value of approaching problems from a perspective of scalability.
• A utility player and teammate. You're willing to help out wherever needed and love to collaborate in order to help drive wins all around.
