Director, Virtual Private Cloud Product Management
DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services is looking for a seasoned product leader to help us define and build the future of computing for our EC2 Networking team. This team delivers high performance software defined networking "in the cloud" with diverse customers ranging from startups to well-known enterprises. As a member of the EC2 team, you'll join other outstanding product and engineering leaders to create the future of cloud networking.
We are looking for a broad and deep leader who will own and drive product management across a range of network offerings. You will have strong ownership over adoption, feature prioritization, product definition, messaging, pricing, customer interaction, sales enablement, and team development. Working closely with and across agile teams, you will be able to see and feel the impact of your work on our customers. This is a high visibility and high impact role that will interact with all levels of AWS and Amazon.com leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 15+ years of product management experience preferably with Networking and/or Internet business experience
• 10+ years of experience building and leading product teams with an emphasis on scaling them to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business
• 10+ years of translating customer needs into features, pricing models, and merchandising opportunities to deliver an unparalleled customer experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated success in delivering high quality technology products/services in a scale up environment where priorities can shift rapidly
• Communication deft across mediums to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team
• Experience driving a technical global product and team with end to end inbound and outbound product responsibilities
• BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics and/or MBA
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and drive data driven decisions
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
