Education Services
As a global training company, NMI takes on the challenges of identifying industry trends and creating training materials which can be used to quickly and effectively create topic mastery among our clients.
Education Services is a powerful part of what makes NMI (New Marketing Institute) unique and our training strategies focus on developing impactful instruction that not only focuses on providing learners with a profound understanding of the tools and landscapes on which modern digital media, data management and programmatic media buying and selling take place.
The Director of Education Services will be responsible for providing leadership, revenue management, coordination and deep-content strategic oversights for the planning, creation, management and implementation of Functional Marketing training programs (with a focus on Programmatic). NMI is about teaching real people real-world skills that they can use to reach business goals and improve bottom lines.
Responsibilities
• Producing a product training and certification roadmap and plan documenting the path for developing a customer and partner certification utilizing the best practices of Education Services certification and training teams.
• Partnering with regional certification leads to ensure that the certifications and trainings are aligned to product and business realities in different regions.
• Setting and meeting training and certification goals for the training and certification team
• Defining and develop content and technical team needed to drive success of program
• Developing strong relationships with subject matter experts and be seen as a highly competent and collaborative training partner who works closely with multiple teams to clearly implement educational requirements.
• Partnering with the NMI Global Leads to plan and oversee on-site training events, customized workshops, industry-facing conferences, partner events and customized training materials for prospects and clients.
• Sharing the excellence, competencies, professionalism and thought leadership that is our core to NMI as an industry leader.
• Working with a team of curriculum planners, facilitators and consultants to assure that all training goals are being addressed and implemented.
• Providing thought leadership to develop best-practices approach for content development and the specific pedagogies needed to create meaningful and useful functional marketing courses (Programmatic specific content).
• Working with NMI and client teams to identify needs-driven training goals to assure that all curriculum exceeds industry expectations.
• Developing and maintaining professional and mutually beneficial relationships in partnership with the NMI Leadership Team, Global Operations Team with training partners, such as but not limited to Industry Trade Association like the IAB and DMA.
• Developing client partnerships with businesses and other organizations who can benefit from the materials and training that NMI offers.
• Participating in the development and implementation of a Learning Management System and other future training platforms as needed.
This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or related work experience
• 5-7 years’ of experience leading and managing global teams
• 5-7 years’ Instructional Design and or e-Learning experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and appropriately prioritize in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
• Expert in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with virtual meeting and training platforms such as WebEx, Adobe Connect, Skype, etc.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management systems
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented planning, organization and time management skills with ability to evaluate work product for quality and accuracy
