Position overview:
We are introducing this new position for our advertising operations group as an investment in our organizations growth and future. You will have a great opportunity to further define the role and team.
This position is an individual contributor initially. You will help create the operations support organization's mission and makeup. There are requirements and inputs to how the organization will evolve but the freedom to define and execute a shared vision is yours.
This is a support function. The core, global operations teams are the primary customers with a large and dynamic partner group. This position exists to support the operations teams in their journeys for automation, efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
We will consider applicants in London, Dallas, or Bellevue/Seattle.
About you:
You have a diverse background in business and operations. You have worked in or been the leader of a wide variety of functions. You flourish in simplifying complexity and understand the importance of "just enough process". You have experience with tools, systems, technology, and services. You know and appreciate the difference between major business functions and roles. You are experienced working across many groups, organizations, and locations. You build bridges and remove barriers.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate current operations capabilities, identify the greatest areas of opportunities, and build a prioritized execution plan and roadmap. Capability areas include:
• Learning and Development: Work with learning professionals in the organization to evaluate and implement learning tools and solutions for operations.
• Reporting: Spearhead reporting and critical metric measurement, capabilities, and automation. Create a mechanism for tracking investments, efficiencies, and improvements.
• Content Management: Assist teams in assessing current solutions and execute go-forward plans.
• Tools/Systems Management: Lead efforts to understand tools and systems dependencies and craft processes for incident response as well as requirement tracking.
• Process Management: Build and execute on an ongoing roadmap for delivery of improvements in the end to end processes across operations.
• Vendor Management and Procurement: Build a system for managing and tracking vendor dependencies and contracts. Work with procurement to ensure the best interests of the team are being met.
• Change and Project Management: Implement a light change and project management process for the team.
As part of the plan, determine your organizational needs based on the most pressing areas of focus for the group. Create a resource plan for future investment.

Qualifications:
• 10+ years operations experience
• 5+ years experience working in a global, multicultural organization
• Direct experience leading or working in 5 of the following 7 areas: learning and development, reporting, content management, tools and systems management, process management, vendor management and procurement, and change and project management.
• Ability to travel globally (10% - 25% annually)
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Hospitality experience preferred
