About Us:
Einstein Analytics adds a layer of artificial intelligence to the entire analytics workflow, automatically surfacing CRM insights and recommending actions to accelerate sales, improve customer service and optimize marketing campaigns. Since the launch of the product at Dreamforce '14, we have attracted rave reviews and we are well positioned to change the Analytics market. The engineering organization is aggressively growing to meet the explosive market demands, and we need your help to get us there. The organization encompasses technology areas such as Natural Language Processing, Spark, Go, Redis, React, CoffeeScript etc.
The Analytics UI team is responsible for building the tools and runtime engine that puts powerful but easy to use, visually appealing analytics at the hands of end user. We are looking for an engineering leader who is passionate about building and leading high energy teams to help further this vision.
The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background and has worked as an individual contributor for many years building complex full stack feature that touches on analytics, mobile, BI, reporting, or data warehouse. Candidate should also have experience managing or leading a team and successfully delivering products to end user and have experience in the full development lifecycle from design, implement, deployment to support.

Responsibilities:
• Hire and develop top talent
• Maintain high morale and motivate engineers to go above and beyond
• Ensure good communication to team and to upper management of all issues and decisions
• Drive architecture discussions and planning with engineering and product teams
• Re view tool implementations and encourage sound design principles
• Quarterback customer escalations and make sure issues are resolved
• Daily management of objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, risk and performance management of team
• Provide technical leadership and career development to team
• Work with product management to deliver high value, widely adopted analytics features
Required Skills / Experience:
• 7+ years software development experience with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects
• Experience managing software development teams as scrum master, project lead, or development manager
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational aptitude, and time management skills Agile, proactive, comfortable working with ambiguous specifications and can prioritize on the fly
• 5+ years of SaaS experience at scale
• Experience building with modern front-end web applications and technologies (EG, React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc.)
• Expert knowledge in the following languages: Java and Javascript
• BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
