ABOUT THE JOB
Responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenues in existing and new customers. The Regional Sales VP will manage and mentor Sales Reps selling, within a consultative sales approach, the Software AG portfolio of software and services. The position has eight (8) direct reports. Candidates will be located near a major airport to facilitate required travel. Developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenues. Effectively and accurately managing forecasting and pipeline reporting related to revenue, client acquisition, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Coaching and mentoring regional sales managers with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
• Team with System Integrators to develop qualified opportunities and create winning RFP responses.
• Working with marketing, product management, sales engineers, and professional services teams to maximize opportunities and foster cohesive sales strategies
• Developing executive level relationships with clients and partners to advance individual opportunities and client/partner relationships
• Building teams and motivating staff to exceed goals

Skills and Experience
• Excellent presentation skills and interaction with internal/external customers
• Experience developing and presenting clear and concise sales briefings/meetings
• Team player and able to take direction from Sales Management
• Ability to understand customers' business, needs, challenges and expectations
• Shows personal commitment, strong leadership skills and experienced in working in a collaborative environment
• Is target and success orientated
• Is ready to constantly develop his / her skills, qualifications, knowledge and personality (learning orientation)
Professional Experience in year(s):15
Education:
• BA/BS degree and familiarity with internet technologies, web portal initiatives and integration platforms is required.
IT Skills:
• Qualified candidates will have 15 plus years prior experience selling software based solutions with deal sizes range from $250K - $1M+.
