The Role:
The Commercial Sales Director will report directly to the Divisional CEO and is primarily concerned with focusing on driving the continued growth of the 100TB brand and other ‘Technical’, brands.
The role will require a combination of strong technical solution selling skills with strong marketing and business development skills. The Commercial Sales Director will help develop the overall proposition for the Technical brands take ownership for execution of the go to market strategy. They will work closely with the product, finance customer service and operation teams, ensuring they are working together to deliver the overall strategy. The Commercial Sales Director will lead the sales and marketing teams in the US, with responsibility for building a high performance team capable of delivering against the growth objectives of the business.
They will act and think as a leader, but will be comfortable working in a start-up style and hands-on working environment. They will inspire confidence and generate excitement and enthusiasm across the Group, driving commitment towards achieving the business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic direction and plans for the Technical brands with regard to all commercial functions including sales, marketing, business development and customer experience.
• Responsible for the implementation and achievement of his/her Business Area’s mission, goals and financial objectives. Develop long-term plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance. Ensure systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the department across global and diverse teams.
• Manage the sales team to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded. Manage sales pipeline to ensure accurate and adequate lead inflow to reach targeted sales objectives.
• Develop annual marketing plans per region and per market verticals.
• Develop and maintain initiatives in order to achieve up to date competitive analysis portfolio. Develop and monitor quality metrics to ensure outstanding service and customer support. Establish and monitor progress against key performance indicators.
• Develop annual and long term budgets for revenues as well as expenses.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities for the company’s product portfolio.
• Develop and drive the pricing strategy of the organization.
• Elaborate a rolling product roadmap in conjunction with the CTO.
