Role Description:
Team Salesforce is looking for true all-stars with a passion for marketing and deep understanding of the Service Buyer and customer service, field service and customer engagement centre solution space. Additional knowledge and insights into the government segment will set you even further apart. You are a rock star marketing leader who's dynamic, creative, and has great interpersonal skills. Driving 30%+ growth for over 15 years is a mix of art and science requiring ongoing innovation. In this role we are looking for you to help drive innovation in the way we go to market, while bringing together dynamic teams across departments and functions to represent one Salesforce. This role will develop cross-product initiatives, closely aligned with sales and measured on sales success metrics. Beyond sales pipeline and revenue objectives this role will be responsible for building complete integrated go-to-market programs that explain our solutions to new and existing customers to accelerate the business and ensure double digit growth.
Here's what you'd be doing:
• Work with the industry's most innovative marketing team and the best sales organisation in the world to develop and deliver a solid go to market plan that builds awareness, pipeline and revenue for 'Salesforce for Service.
• Work closely with sales strategy, sales leaders, industry and cloud leaders to develop and deliver go to market plans that facilitate growth on all vectors.
• Take local market insights and inform the business and marketing strategy
• Work cross-functionally to pull together a strategy and complete marketing mix recommendation to deliver breakthrough solutions marketing involving innovative campaigns for our install base and net new community via several mediums.
• Lead content, asset and messaging development when required, take lead on localising HQ content and messaging, and sales plays.
• Collaborate with sales leaders to activate programs to ensure effectiveness of campaigns at time of launch and as needed to define operations that maximize our return on investment.
• Present and speak at public forums in front of customer and prospect audiences both at Salesforce events and 3rd party/industry events because you are an evangelist and thought leader
• Develop and deliver enablement for internal selling audiences
• Monitor pipeline generation, conducting gap analysis and build recovery plans when required
• Measure and report on marketing effectiveness and develop ways to learn from experiments to constantly improve.
• Communicate effectively and often with all stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Publish frequent program updates and metrics on a global level to share performance trends.
Experience/Skills Required or Desired:
• Bachelor degree from a 4 year college / universities
• MBA a plus (but we love smart people who really love to innovate and get things done)
• 10 years + marketing experience in a marketing manager, product marketing, or campaign manager capacity
• 8+ years experience managing and developing new marketing programs
• 8+ years experience driving demand and pipeline for the programs with maximum ROI
• 8+ years experience collaborating effectively with sales to achieve results
• Demonstrable senior stakeholder management skills across matrix organisations
• Advanced presentation skills
• Past experience in using salesforce and/or other marketing tools
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives
• Works well under pressure or in a high growth environment that is constantly changing
• Track record for delivering under tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of demand generation and a track record of owning campaigns and driving success
• Pan-regional experience in delivering programs through virtual and remote teams
• Team player, collaborative, strong communicator and ability to build and influence relationships
• Past experience in using salesforce and/or other marketing tools
