Financial Planning & Analysis Director BEX Global Marketing Organization

The FP&A Director is responsible for leading a team and delivering high quality financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic insight to the business. This role will report into the Senior Finance Director, and will work closely with Global Marketing Organization (GMO) partners and leaders.
The FP&A Director will support Mobile and Email channels, as well as cross-channel initiatives and reporting. The role will provide decision support and have ownership for forward-looking projections, ongoing business information analysis, ad hoc reporting, competitive analyses, and business performance measurement. In addition, the position will be responsible to drive automation and standardization of reporting and forecasting processes.
Responsibilities would include:
• Lead Brand Expedia GMO’s ongoing quarterly multi-year financial planning cycles. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting for GMO to drive insight into the business.
• Foster best-in-class communication and collaboration with GMO business teams to ensure alignment of BEXG’s financial planning commitments and financial analyses.
• Constantly drive for improved visibility into the GMO’s performance via insightful management reporting and analysis. Optimize both the quantity and the quality of financial reporting on an ongoing basis, always looking for opportunities for application enhancement and automation.
• Lead topical ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to improve the collective understanding of risks and opportunities related to these issues.
Qualifications:
• Extremely organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight time lines
• Strong strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making
• Ability to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions
• Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes
• Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences
• Proven people management and development experience
