We are looking for an experienced Product leader with a proven ability to lead multiple product teams and drive results at scale to join as Director of Product in our Business Products unit. The Business Products unit is building the digital tools that support WeWork’s massive (and rapidly growing) operations worldwide and is in charge of building systems such as our Billing platform, Pricing engine, Hospitality and Productivity tools for our Community Managers and much more.
In this highly visible role you will oversee the metrics, roadmap, and product deliverables of several cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design, and QA. Your success will also be driven by your ability to build highly functional teams with distinguished culture and highly engaged team members that are executing at the highest levels. You will work with multiple stakeholders at the highest levels in the organization, and will be responsible for creating transparency and alignment between your group and your customers.
Successful candidates will have proven leadership experience, outstanding analytical skills, excellent communication strategies, and experience building high performing teams that are focused on achieving clear business goals with outstanding user experience. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics or management.
• 7+ years product management experience in technology focused business, 2+ years experience managing Product Managers.
• Experience managing - directly or indirectly - cross-functional team including engineering, design and QA.
• Experience managing, prioritizing, and delivering a product portfolio to meet strategic goals.
• Experience building and releasing scalable technology solutions and partnering with engineering teams.
• Strong problem solving ability with ability to effectively convey the problem, techniques, and findings to cross-functional audiences.
• Excellent writing, verbal communication, and data presentation skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA strongly preferred
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley Compliance
• Knowledge of payments or billing products and systems
• Experience managing operational tools (measured by efficiency, productivity, hospitality) a strong plus
• Experience in subscription management
• Experience in delivering innovative technology products/services in a high growth environment.
