RVP Enterprise Sales - App Cloud

Salesforce.com is looking for talented, hardworking individuals with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive awareness for one of our fastest growing division at Salesforce.com, App Cloud. The RVP Enterprise Sales role focuses exclusively on the Salesforce App Cloud. The RVP Enterprise Sales will formulate and execute a sales strategy within the North region, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in the enterprise space. He/she will work in partnership with the existing account-owning Account Executives and RVP's in the regions, and will carry a team quota for the App Cloud sales in their region.
Effective partnering with RVPs and AVPs of the Enterprise Sales teams is critical to the role. This is accomplished by participating and leading client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required, as well as participating in regional forecast calls and account planning sessions. Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue while creating satisfied and referenceable customers are key responsibilities for the RVP.
Job Profile:
• Responsible for interfacing with the sales team in the Northern European (Benelux & Nordics) region and helping to drive mega/complex deal transactions.
• C-suite level resources, aligned with regional executives, AEs, and internal leadership teams to present a single front internally and help represent a single vision for our customers.
• Heavy experience in C-level negotiation, account strategy, domain expertise, executive selling, large deal management, team leadership.
• Large deal escalation point for overall transactions to eliminate duplication and ad-hoc solution / business development.
• Aligned with Strategic Account Executives, Industry leads, and Geographical Sales Management
Tasks:
• Supports the team of Account Executive by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required
• Ongoing development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training
• Conducts weekly forecast meetings, coaches direct reports regarding strategies to generate new business, add-on business and drive closure
• Ensuring Account Executives have clear territory plans and divide and conquer their patch through leading and co-leading part of the business, assisting the core account executives with App Cloud expertise and enabling the other sales departments with the App Cloud value propositions
• Reports on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management through the use of Salesforce CRM application
• Consistently monitors the sales activity of the team, the execution of their plans and tracks the results.
Required Skills/Experience:
Your skill set includes solid strategic sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings, while building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers. Beyond a passion for sales and 10+ years in software and/or applications sales selling primarily to the CxO level, the candidate should possess:
• A background leading a team in strategic sales at Enterprise companies in Northern Europe
• A minimum of 5 years Management experience
• Results oriented with multiple years of meeting or exceeding quotas
• Strategic thinking with execution focus
• Good interpersonal skills to align and foster positive working relationships across the organization (internal and external)
• Bachelors degree (MBA preferred)
