The Director, Global HR Operations will lead the HR Operations team of 5 employees driving efficiency, ease of use, accuracy and best practices of our HR processes. The scope of our HR Operations team includes Total Compensation (including Equity), Benefits, Payroll, HR Systems, Data Analysis, HR Policies, Immigration and Mobility.
This is a complex position that provides services directly to internal clients around the globe as well as provide specialty services (e.g., M&A support, metrics, project management, etc.) within HR. The successful Director will be an exceptional partner working with Finance, Legal, Talent Management and HRBPs on establishing and executing processes that operate cross functionally (e.g, performance management, comp planning and creating Board equity packages).
Responsibilities:
• Develops, leads, and manages HR operations team and programs/services, serving as an escalation/approval point for critical issues.
• Identify and optimize systems to enable and ensure transparency in our processes, and accountable for data accuracy across all systems. Leads the planning, requirements definition, vendor selection, implementation and execution of complex HR technology projects (e.g. evaluation of solutions and potential implementation of new Global HRIS, Performance Management system and ATS)
• Oversee internal audit processes to ensure accuracy of data and conformance with HR processes. Where applicable, ensure vendor audit processes are compliant with company policies and legislative requirements.
• Ensure compliance and effectiveness with our global operations in payroll/ benefits and other activities to create a consistent employee experience.
• The Director provides HR operations guidance to integrate and scale operations when company expands and grows in new markets and geographies.
• Review and update our policies and benefit/ compensation practices to be current and reflective of our culture.
• Manage and directs vendor relationships. Monitors and manages the performance of third party vendors and service provides regarding quality, delivery and costs.
• Serves as the subject matter expert, trusted advisor and resolution point for escalated transactions as they relate to HR processes and systems.
• Regularly meet with HR colleagues to review HR metrics and determine if current initiatives are driving expected results and identify areas for improvement.
• Assures proper storage, organization and retrieval of information of HR records, provides guidance for physical and electronic file retention.
• Continuously evaluate existing work processes and prospective processes to ensure the most effective use of resources. Make recommendations for process improvements and assist with the design of work processes.
• Ensure HR colleagues and all managers in the business understand business and compliance requirements, provide training, and audit to ensure consistency among entire team.

Qualifications:
• 7-10 years of experience as a high performing manager of Global HR Operations – with 3+ years being an exceptional player/coach & builder of high performance teams
• Operational understanding of all HR operational disciplines (e.g., compensation, benefits, global mobility) and their integration with broader HR services and strategies, with particular expertise in compensation. Familiarity with equity preferred.
• Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration skills - leveraging a meticulous attention to detail and building scalable process
• Experience successfully evaluating, maintaining and optimizing relationships with brokers, consultants, and other vendors
• Global Regulatory knowledge
• Experience successfully optimizing systems, e.g. ADP Payroll and WorkforceNow HRIS system / ICIMS
• Strong consultative and communication skills.
• Experience influencing and building collaborative, strong working relationships with the HR team and corporate functions. Customer service orientation.
