The Corporate Development team partners with Groupon's business leaders to identify new growth areas, and sources and executes acquisitions, investments and partnerships. We are looking for a Director of M&A Integration and Partner Management. You will work with a fast-paced and highly motivated team in defining and implementing a world-class integration and partner management practice.
Responsibilities:
M&A Integration:
• Develop integration plans and drive alignment amongst key stakeholders to ensure value is created from all acquisitions
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute integration plans by providing project management and direction across the integration teams
• Identify any issues with the integration and help drive to resolution; become an internal advocate for acquired teams
• Track key milestones and deal goals, and communicate integration status and deal performance to the executive team and key stakeholders
• Develop Day 0/Day 1 materials and events
• Own and drive continuous improvement in the integration process and tools
• Develop strong relationships with the business and the functional leads
Partner Management:
• Work with business development leaders and business sponsors to develop objectives and go-to-market plans on strategic partnerships
• Manage relationships with strategic partners
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute on partner integration plans, identify issues and help drive to resolution and ensure objectives are met
• Track, analyze and communicate key metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
• Bachelors degree required
• 7+ years complex project management or consulting experience, ideally including 3+ years M&A integration experience
• Ability to quickly grasp complex business strategies and identify downstream operational implications
• Strong analytical skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity, and experience to tell the tale
• Ability to create sustainable processes in an evolving organization
