Initiatives Director
The Corporate Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a finance and project professional to drive change throughout the Finance organization. The Initiatives Director will lead the Enterprise and Finance Initiatives (EFI) team, and will drive business programs and projects through their life cycle. This leader and the team they directly manage will deliver initiatives, products, and features. Ideal candidates will have exceptional product management, project management, communication, and leadership skills. Most suitable candidates will also have a thorough financial background.
Responsibilities include:
• Define and own cross team project portfolio
• Create and present business cases for new initiatives to gain buy in, sponsorship, and approval
• Drive out ambiguity by identifying the key decisions to be made, surfacing key drivers and inputs, and enabling well informed, timely decisions to be made by executive teams and sponsors
• Direct and influence activities across functions to deliver end results
• Define and implement operational plans/playbooks
• Define success criteria and measurement tools, and evaluate success at various stages of execution
• Drive project delivery, leveraging an efficient project governance toolkit to ensure projects are progressing effectively, issues and risks are being surfaced, and roadblocks are being removed
Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of at least 8 years in delivering strategic initiatives and complex, large scale projects and products, preferably in the finance realm.
• At least 3 years of management experience is required, preferably in a high tech environment with a keen focus on results.
• A degree in engineering, finance, or business required, with an MBA strongly preferred.
