Responsibilities:
As the Senior Director, HR Business Partner at MediaMath, your broad experience as a Trusted HR Advisor will serve to quickly build strong trust relationships with employees, managers and a team of talented and driven HR Business Partners. You will drive continuous HR program improvement to support MediaMath’s teams with light and nimble HR infrastructure that helps optimize effective communication and individual/collective success without ever getting in the way.
You will evolve and enhance the definition of the HR Business Partner function’s value proposition by helping managers at MediaMath attend to the urgent without ever losing sight of the important. Your success will be made possible by effectively partnering with other HR functions (Talent Acquisition/HR Operations) to recruit, reward, and retain exceptional talent. You will need to move fast and be comfortable with wearing many hats and juggling multiple projects, stay close to progressive employment practices and choice fully drive culturally-appropriate change that accelerates MediaMath’s progress.
As a player/coach you will be the HR Business Partner to a designated client group – enabling you to continually evaluate how programs are working in real life. You will act as an exceptional manager, coach and escalation point for all of our HR Business Partners globally. You will lead by example to help the HR Business Partners proactively collaborate with employees at all levels in their client groups to build high performing teams and actively and promptly address any issue that could get in the way of individual/collective success.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for existing and emerging HR programs globally and develop new initiatives to maintain MediaMath’s edge as an exceptionally innovative business and employer
• Work closely with management teams to translate business needs into effective organizational designs and corresponding people strategies
• Evolve culture and programs to engage employees
• Lead talent pipeline development to grow, retain and enhance careers for our best talent within and across your client group
• Partner with organizational leaders on talent management to ensure employee experience and performance is aligned with company culture and objectives
• Be key point of contact, coach and trusted advisor to internal clients at all levels
• Work collaboratively with HR teams to review, recommend and implement changes to HR programs, policies, and processes to ensure optimization, streamlining, and compliance globally
• Maintain thorough understanding and knowledge of employment laws; ensure compliance in all aspects of the employment relationship
• Support performance and compensation programs including merit adjustments and incentive payouts
• Manage and develop global HRBPs.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
• 10+ years in a fast-paced technology environment including managing others
• Proven success in a company undergoing high growth and rapid global expansion – ideally in technology / digital media
• Able to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels bringing practical insights and follow through. “Make it happen” attitude
• Adaptable change leader for the business and for HR.
• Foundation in organizational development and organizational design
• Innovative and effective coach, able to proactively managing employee relations issues to fast and favorable resolution
• Solid knowledge of employment law in the U.S. as well as globally
• Self-starter with very strong analytical skills
• Successful experience managing HR programs and projects from idea to global rollout and continuous improvement
• Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal skills
• Strong team philosophy; proven ability to work positively, collaboratively and professionally within a team and across a global organization.
• Experience with platforms such as ADP, ICIMS, Namely preferred
