MediaMath seeks a senior, thoughtful leader with exceptional analytical, communication, program management, and client management skills. As a Senior Engagement Manager at MediaMath, you will serve as the account owner and operational lead for your book of business. Senior Engagement Managers are dedicated, client-centric resources charged with coordinating the delivery of value to MediaMath’s clients through the activation of internal specialty groups as well as external partners. In partnership with your Commercial Director, Senior Engagement Managers’ own the execution and evolution of strategic/technical joint roadmaps for high-value clients, and must possess the ability to develop and deepen relationships with both operational and executive-level contacts. The Engagement Director is a senior generalist possessing strong project management skills with expertise in a variety of marketing disciplines including strategy, campaign management, analytics, and attribution and measurement. The position is located in 4WTC and reports directly to Jessica Coren.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and effectively manage stakeholders from internal specialty groups and external partners to deliver against value driven account roadmaps. Manage project progress against agreed timelines and coordinate and control activities to ensure projects are delivered on-time/budget
• Become resident expert at using TerminalOne, MediaMath’s media trading platform, and articulate value proposition to all levels of a client organization
• Understand and communicate relevant new products, features and capabilities as they become available and ensure successful deployment and activation on your clients
• Identify opportunities for upsell to existing clients. Formulate business plans that center on value creation and articulate value propositions MediaMath can offer to the client’s business
• Serve as the MediaMath institutional knowledge hub for clients in your book of business
• Ensure your assigned cross-functional client team is viewed as a center of operational excellence
• Lobby for product initiatives and data/technology/supply integrations that can contribute to the success of the clients in your book of business
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in online advertising account management, marketing consulting, and/or brand management or yield optimization. Experience with marketing campaign design, campaign management, and analysis preferred
• Effective time management and advanced project management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships throughout all levels of client organizations with a track record of retaining key clients
• Ability to lead day-to-day client relations, and to work with management and multifunctional teams to respond to client needs
• Strong listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Personable, charismatic, and positive with strong consultative sales skills
• Experience managing high performing teams
• Encyclopedic knowledge of the online media business and advertising technology landscape
• Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
• Strong knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research
• Strong analytical skills. Must be comfortable with MS Excel, data analysis, and internet technologies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
