Lending Club’s Investor Group is responsible for raising highly diversified capital to fund loan products on the platform through retail customers. The team is passionate about building investment products that provide for a great customer experience while providing access to unique asset classes. The Investor Group partners with dedicated legal, finance and operations teams to deliver compelling investment solutions for clients.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Capital Markets Director to join our Institutional Investor team.
Responsibilities
• Strategic development and execution of our funding programs such as securitization and warehouse lending
• Implementation and strategic delivery of structured solutions collateralized by Lending Club assets for our institutional investors
• Partner with our Institutional Sales team to promote our platform among existing and prospective clients
• Cultivate relationships with our investment banking clients
• Lead the build out of our balance sheet purchasing program strategy, process and procedures
• Analyze the economic considerations and value proposition of securitization and other structured solutions
• Prepare business plans and strategy for the evolution of Lending Club's capital market business
About You
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience
• MBA or CFA preferred
• Intermediate to Advanced familiarity with Microsoft products and data visualization tools
• Demonstrated passion for the financial technology sector
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Effective communicator to act as an advisor to senior leadership and partners
• Extraordinary social skills, harmonious attitude, and ability to establish relationships and trust
• Highly organized, productive, and poised, especially under high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios
• Excellent analytical skills and business sense
• Able to work in complex and often ambiguous environments
