DESCRIPTION
Innovation is at the heart of Amazon’s global strategy, and we are looking to recruit a visionary creative technology leader to help us create the most inventive and engaging ways of connecting with our customers. You have led a team of technologists and produced a range of award-winning digital work. From websites and apps, to interactive Social, OOH, and other emerging environments, you are well versed in the complexities and considerations of connecting with digital natives. You will act as liaison between the Strategy, Creative, Media and Production Departments, to raise the creative bar, and produce the best ideas.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to Amazon’s Global creative output, and we want to find a highly-motivated candidate, driven to push the boundaries of where interactive ideas can go.
Responsibilities
• Help drive development of best-in-class work that raises the creative bar, and pushes the boundaries of storytelling and innovation in engaging our customers.
• Act as a liaison for product development teams, helping open creative opportunities and communicate development requirements
• Drive innovative media solutions by working with internal & external media partners to push boundaries
• Partner with Strategy to gather tech insights from internal groups, and gather cultural tech trends, that will help inform briefs
• Drive technology thought leadership to help translate technology into creativity
• Identify prototyping tools and best practices
• Lead prototype development to test new ideas, and scale contract team when necessary
• Help drive programmatic and scalable advertising solutions for video and other platforms
• Seek out new tech partners, and incubate creative technology opportunities with them
• Help lead production of technology ideas, and articulate project timelines
• Eeducate teams on how to best leverage partners to engage our customers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years experience as a Creative Innovator
• Entrepreneurial and highly strategic mindset, with a proven track record of conceiving and producing best-in-class creative technology ideas
• Experience in delivering large scale Programmatic solutions
• Team player that is adept and partnering with Creative, Strategy and Production; a born Maker
• Strong passion for UX/IA Design, with ability to speak fluently in both
• Knowledge of the basic coding languages
• Understanding of IoT architecture
• Hands on Production Experience across a range of tech led initiatives (websites, apps, OOH, Social, etc)
• Proven track record of leading and scaling teams, coaching and growing talent
• Leadership experience managing large teams of technologists and designers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Global campaigns and Fortune 500 marketing experience
