Job Overview:
The Sr. Director of Supplier Management will source, initiate and build partnerships with airlines and other travel suppliers in Europe. He/she will be responsible for the strategic direction and will lead the effort in securing supplier content and ensuring that supplier content is properly displayed within Concur. He/She will also be responsible for securing and negotiating TripLink agreements with airlines throughout Europe whilst working in conjunction with local Concur teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of TripLink throughout Europe.
Reports to Senior Vice President, Supplier Services
Located in: London or Paris ideal, willing to consider other locations in Western Europe
Responsibilities:
• Develop and drive travel supplier strategy in Europe.
• Sourcing, signing and ensuring deployment of high-value supplier relationships.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage financial terms and conditions.
• Facilitate strategic account management with existing and new partnerships.
• Secure marquee partners which raise profile of Concur within travel industry community
• Work with cross-functional team in maximizing success of partnership through collaboration and drive engagement process and launch activities.
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Training required:
• Proven experience interacting with senior executives from airlines
• 5+ years travel related experience with expertise in supplier management
• 5+ years’ experience negotiating partner/supplier agreements, partner management and development.
• Experience with target identification, assessment, business case development, contract negotiation and integration.
• Knowledge of airline/hotel distribution strategy and compensation models.
• Knowledge of GDS/TMC/Travel distribution landscape.
• BS/BA or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of French beneficial
• Ability to travel (~50%)
• Ability to pass a background check.
