As the Global Sales Director at Egencia – an Expedia Inc. company, you will be responsible for managing a team to achieve sales plans across all aspects of the sales cycle for a Region, from initial prospecting and market development through to close. You will grow and retain Egencia’s client base by developing a sales strategy and achieving revenue targets. When required, you will develop new programs and partnerships to establish the merits of Egencia.

What you will do:
• Lead the activities and performance of a sales team to surpass quotas and provide direction
• Create and implement strategies which will drive sales, revenue and market share targets
• Initiate strategic sales efforts with national and multi-national business opportunities and negotiate major deals and maintain key customer contacts at senior levels
• Report various analysis and projections and provide regular pipeline forecasts to senior management
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
• Liaise with internal partners to identify regional opportunities for supporting our strategy
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to implement business plans
• Promote and handle execution of new and enhanced services required to accomplish Egencia’s global business objectives and meet specific customer expectations
