Sales Operations Director, US Commercial, you will lead 5 regional sales teams consisting of over 100 direct and in-direct sales, engineering and specialists that are responsible for consistently achieving double digit YY growth. The ‘Commercial Select' segment includes customers with 1,500-5,000 employees and up to $5B in revenues across NY City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The customer base is diverse representing manufacturing, retail, healthcare, financial services and gaming. This team sells the entire Cisco portfolio of products, cloud offers and services thru Cisco certified channel partners. The FY17 revenue target will be over $400M.

Who You Are
You have a reputation and proven track record of success as an exemplary sales leader. Candidate must be comfortable using cutting edge communication tools and applications. Bright, dynamic, and possessing superior verbal and written communication skills. An engaging personality to inspire and create excitement with their sales team, as well as across the entire organization and in the marketplace. Strategic and innovative with an external awareness to understand the nuances of selling complex data network solutions as well as other new technology solutions/ products as Cisco expands its market. Utilizing a consultative style, experienced in teaching and developing their teams to identify and define client needs and develop innovative solutions. A tireless, high-energy professional with an entrepreneurial, risk-taking flair and will possess a brand of confidence, which allows for delegation and empowers team. Significant revenue responsibility in current role. Track record of proven success in business outcome sales. Experience selling software licenses, managed services, XaaS and other non-traditional consumption models. Sales leadership and cross functional/general management experience. Experience managing a direct sales organization while leveraging both Systems Integrators and Channel Partners. Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing a sales organization. Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, inspiring and creative way. Demonstrated ability to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture. A strategic thinker and able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
