Are you looking for a new challenge? Does building out a brand new Vacation Rental product line excite you? If so, here is a great opportunity for you. We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to lead a talented group of engineers/technologists in developing the Vacation Rental shopping experience here at Brand Expedia. In addition, the individual will be a key leader in the Expedia Partner Services team, with responsibility to build/maintain Connectivity solutions for our partners in the Lodging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver results to the business.
• You will work closely with key partners in executing the product vision for our new Vacation Rental product line. This includes Product Management, internal/external engineering teams, and other internal cross-functional teams.
• You will lead a group of 30 Engineers/Technologists in engineering execution
• Be responsible for the growth of the Engineering team – including individuals’ career growth, skillset development, and hiring the right resources.
• Lead a multi-location team, with a mix of FTEs and Contract resources.
• Provide guidance on Engineering excellence, Agile process excellence, deployment of latest Technology as appropriate.
Requirements:
• You will have a strong technical management background
• 12+ years of experience in software development
• 4+ years in a leadership role with increasing responsibility and career progression
• Ability to navigate a rapidly changing landscape, while handling multiple responsibilities.
• Well versed in Agile development methodology
• Hands-on experience with Development in AWS or other Cloud environment strongly desired.
• Strong written and spoken communication
• Strong Business acumen is desired
