What You'll Do
You will identify and position new and innovative Advanced Services offerings and solutions based on observed marketplace demands and trends. You will define and communicate Advanced Services portfolio positioning and value to target client segments and Cisco stakeholders. You will create and deliver standalone and cross-portfolio Advanced Services quotes and proposals to clients with accurate deliverable scoping, sizing and pricing. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups (sales, product management, operations, marketing) to develop an Advanced Services portfolio strategy, financial forecasts, offer packages and pricing, and client proposals and contribute to the development of new service offerings. You will track and manage continuous pipeline of services and solutions for client opportunities. You will work with service line management and Advanced Services Product Management in supporting the services lifecycle requirements and engage with Service Line delivery teams to insure consistent and accurate scoping of client delivery engagements.
Who You’ll Work With
You'll be part of a highly empowered collaborative team focused on driving successful insertion of Advanced Services portfolio across Cisco sales activities. This team has the opportunity for visibility and interaction with senior management, cross-team collaboration, engage and drive matrix-managed projects which have direct impact to the services business within the Americas Region.
Our BDM team members have deep knowledge into Cisco's Advanced Services portfolio. Team members are expected to leverage this knowledge to develop solutions and scope services opportunities based on customer / sales requirements across all vertical market environments.
Who You Are
A self-starter, independent, pro-active, multi tasker with a program management mind set who is able to resolve conflicts. You have excellent verbal and written skills in communicating and positioning Cisco's Advanced Services business and operational value and capabilities to Client Executive audience.
You have a proven track record of developing and winning multi-architecture solutions contracts (multi-million $). Collaborating across global teams, you are able to program manage complex, global initiatives. You are a problem solver with experience in risk and issue management, escalation and resolution.
Our minimum qualifications are:
• 10+ years' experience delivering enterprise networking services
• 5+ years' experience in sales support / solution development / BDM role
• Strong Cisco route / switch knowledge and understanding of platform implementation
• BA/BS required
• Knowledge of the Advanced Services business
• Knowledge of Public Sector segment
• Demonstrated track record of pursuing and managing services engagements of $2M+
