As the Director of Product Marketing for the Aftermarket, you will be focused on extending leadership in the secondary domain market, and developing and driving marketing programs to increase both the supply and demand side of the marketplace. You will also design, plan and execute programs to better serve our Domain Investor segment and enhance our competitive position within the industry. This role will work across the product, marketing, sales and channel teams to ensure successful execution.
Responsibilities:
• Drive creation of robust, data-driven marketing plans and lead marketing counterparts in eCommerce, Product Management, Advertising, Lifecycle Marketing and Outbound Sales to bring initiatives to market. Leverage iterative testing to continually improve business results.
• Drive the development of clear positioning and compelling messaging for the Aftermarket product and services suite based on customer & competitive insights to drive engagement with our target customer across all customer facing channels including social media and blogs, external communities, events, and conferences
• Collect and communicate key qualitative and quantitative customer data to guide product and customer segment marketing initiatives.
• Support annual and quarterly marketing plans and business goals
• Develop and build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to collaborate and drive the overall business
Requirements:
• 8-10+ years of experience in marketing, with specific experience in small business/consumer technology-driven brands and experience in web/software applications
• Proven experience leading the marketing strategy development and execution for a specific product
• A customer-centric view with a passion for gaining customer insights and translating insights into strategies
• Strong business and marketing acumen, with strong ability to generate creative, original marketing approaches based on customer insights
• Solid analytical ability, with track record of “test & learn” mindset
• Experience in developing messaging and positioning for a technical product based on market research and insights.
• Superior leadership qualities, with a track-record of increasing responsibility and results in a cross-functional, team environment
• “Roll up your sleeves” mentality and desire to own programs from concept to execution.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, high-output, time sensitive environment.
• An innate bias toward action and is a strong self-starter
• MBA preferred
