Location: Marburg and Darmstadt prefered; Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, München, Hamburg, Nürnberg, Stuttgart, Saarbrücken (Deutschland)
A strong IoT technology partner ecosystem will allow Software AG to address more IoT use cases and emphasizes our IoT Framework strategy. The role nedds to be able to explore new technology areas, use cases, business models with the Go-to-Market plans and execution. Furthermore this role needs to work closely with customers, including co-innovation partners.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor IoT market and technology trends to identify potential innovation areas for Software AG
• Analyze use cases, business models, customer paint points and requirements
• Engage with strategic customers in co-innovation projects
• Work closely with customers, engineering, product management & marketing, field and partner management
• Explore, validate and drive IoT technology partnerships: analyze use cases, map capabilities, identify synergies and create joint value proposition; help selecting the best use cases and key accounts for POC and pilots to ensure success
• Implement an agile co-innovation cycle with customers and technology partners
YOUR PROFILE
• Master degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering or a related area
• Good knowledge of:

◦ IoT market, use cases, and relevant technologies
• Special knowledge (desireable):
◦ Industrie 4.0
◦ Industrial Engineering
◦ Product Marketing
• IT Skills:

◦ Big Data and Open Source Frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, ...)
◦ Agile software development
◦ Product development and lifecycle management
• Languages:
◦ English mandatory
◦ German desirable
• Qualities:
◦ Team work (in a widely distributed multi-cultural team)
◦ Good problem solving and analytical skills
◦ Very good communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
◦ Creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
◦ Blend of business and technical savviness
◦ Willingness to acquire new skills and willingness to travel
