What You'll Do
The Sr. Director will provide strategic direction and delivery of Security & Collaboration services to Cisco enterprise and commercial customers within the EMEAR (Europe, Middle East, Russia, & Africa) & APJC (all of Asia to include China & Japan) Regions. This Leadership role will leverage Cisco's market leadership in key underlying technologies inclusive of the security, collaboration and network infrastructure. It will also embrace solutions from third parties and partners to deliver more holistic outcomes for our customers. This leader will continue to innovate on the services roadmap and build a team of resources to deliver on associated engagements.
The Sr. Director, Security & Collaboration Services will play a leadership and transformative role in the following areas:
* Define the EMEAR/APJC Security & Collaboration services strategy in conjunction with other business leaders in Services, Engineering, and Sales
* Lead disruptive service strategies to enable Cisco to extend our market leadership position in Security & Collaboration services within the EMEAR/APJC Regions
* Manage a service delivery team to achieve high customer satisfaction and on-going customer loyalty
* Identify and execute insertion strategies for Cisco assets and solutions
* Evangelize services with sales teams and customers to drive awareness and initial demand
* Drive thought leadership for Cisco in associated domain - including social media, industry events, publications, etc.
* Attract, retain, and build an industry-recognized service delivery team in targeted domains
* Apply knowledge of Cisco's business strategies to proactively anticipate and prioritize business needs. Ensure process and system capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectives
Who You'll Work With
Reporting into our VP, Security/Collaboration/IOT Services, the Sr. Director of EMEAR/APJC Security & Collaboration Services will be an innovative and seasoned executive with experience leading a global practice or service delivery team within a professional services environment. This executive should have a proven track record of incubating and growing new service lines within large, complex organizations. Through strong, collaborative partnerships and earned credibility, this leader is able to effectively manage and influence executive stakeholders, driving adoption of strategic programs across Cisco.
Who You Are
* Technology background with a deep expertise in Security and/or Collaboration related services
* Working knowledge of local markets spanning EMEAR & APJC regions
* Experience working across multiple industry verticals preferred
* Proven ability to innovate new solutions and services from concept through scaling
* Experience leading large delivery teams in a professional services environment
* Demonstrates strong consultative skills in gaining understanding of customer business challenges and engaging in joint problem solving
* Strong executive presence and proven ability to present strategic information to a broad range of audiences
* Program and process skills/experience that led to successful implementation of complex, cross-functional projects in a large company
* Strong communication skills, active listener, ability to synthesize high level information
* Strong collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills. Proven ability to influence and lead outside of organization and across roles and functions
* Deep experience in process management in a heavily matrixed environment
* Demonstrated success in identifying, attracting, developing, and engaging top talent and in a dynamic organization.
Experience:
* Typically requires a BA/BS, business education/MBA preferable
* Extensive technology management experience managing Sr. level teams
* Extensive professional services or solutions consulting
* Has developed and managed complex projects through their life cycle
* Managed large diverse cross functional projects and teams without direct organizational control
