Global Inclusion Strategy Director

And as the Global Inclusion Strategy Director you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering against the inclusion strategy across Expedia, Inc brands.
Key partnerships include:
• Leaders within Expedia, Inc’s global portfolio of brands (Expedia, Hotels.com, HomeAway, Orbitz, Travelocity, Egencia and others)
• Global Recruiting and Global Talent Management teams
• Expedia’s People Analytics team with a focus on crafting and delivering strategic reporting infrastructure
• Business Resource Groups (BRGs)
Key accountabilities include:
• Responsible for working across brands and Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to design and lead the execution of the global inclusion strategy
• You will provide thought-leadership to senior executives; to motivate, advise and influence the strategies across brands
• You will thrive on building strong working relationships with a community of managers; to set the EI direction and drive execution at a brand level
• You will own and lead the global inclusion forum to drive cross-brand cohesion
• You will be responsible for building infrastructure to support distributed execution against goals
• You will make data-driven recommendations, gain executive support, and assess the performance of initiatives
• You will be connected to a high-performing community of external thought-leaders in the diversity space (the likes of vendors, academics, etc) and bring industry insights to your strategy surpassing standard industry norms
• You will be responsible for developing a community of diversity & inclusion managers; with one direct report and a number of matrixed managers
Key Skills:
• Proven track record of leading strategy within a global environment
• Diversity & Inclusion experience; in a tech industry or fast moving environment preferred
• Outstanding analytical capabilities and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable strategies
• Ability to motivate, advise and influence at executive leadership level across a matrixed organization
• Ability to build strong working relationships across a matrixed community of managers
• Exceptional business acumen and project management skills; along with a results orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a change management focus on execution
• You ideally have experience in one or more of the following: Corporate Inclusion team, non-profit or for-profit focused on expanding opportunities for women in business, proven project/ program leader with demonstrated experience driving key initiatives and efforts
