Quidsi's Catalog and Supply Chain Technology
The Director, Product Management is responsible for identifying, creating, and driving innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in the way we use technology to manage our catalog and supply chain, from forecasting, buying, pricing, removals, fulfillment, and capacity planning and management. Working closely with cross-org partners, technology teams, scientists, and inventory management specialists, this position will set a vision and roadmap that synthesizes business requirements, operational constraints, and the opportunities afforded by Amazon systems and logistical innovations.
A successful candidate will be a person who enjoys diving deep into data analysis, discovering root causes, and implementing long-term solutions. You will drive evolution of technology and influence business policies, processes, and how success is measured. The goal is to improve the Quidsi customer experience through larger selection, product availability, and fulfillment reliability, while enhancing profitability.
Position Description
Your responsibilities will include:
• Working internally with cross-functional stakeholders to identify innovative strategies that deliver measurable value and prioritizing opportunities appropriately.
• Collaborating with cross-org partners to set the vision and roadmap for a portfolio of systems that include Pricing, Catalog & Inventory Management, and Fulfillment; with same partners, identify and influence policy and process evolution
• Maintaining the product portfolio roadmap, managing prioritization trade-offs among customer experience, profitability, reliability and performance, and operational support load.
• Taking a hands-on product owner role for agile software development teams in your domain and iteratively driving evolution of systems.

• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in dynamic environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years in product management, technology management or a related discipline is required.
• 2+ years mobile experience
• Bachelor's degree is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA strongly preferred and/or a BA in a technical field (e.g. computer science, applied math, engineering)
• Previous ecommerce experience.
• Experience working on agile enabled teams.
• Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
• Ability to communicate effectively to senior management and team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.
This position is conveniently located in Jersey City, NJ, a four minute ride from the World Trade Center and just outside the Exchange Place PATH Station. Bordering the Hudson River, our offices have spectacular panoramic views of Manhattan and New Jersey.
